WOW!
I sold some mics to buy this, completed some tests and WOW! I finally found a mic I like as much as my AT 4033. It's a keeper! Great on acoustic guitars and vocals. And, yes, its better than the RODE NTK ( had it and sold it ) in my opinion. The preamp and impedance play a big role I'm sure. I tested with a focusrite, Mackie onyx, and Grace 101 only.

The Trion8000 is surprisingly nice in the area of sibilance, the low end is a bit light...overall very well suited for vocal use.

Try it in omni, it opens up in a very subtle but cool way...and tell us what you think on vocals.
