AKG D72s/D660s

Hi, I posted about this a few weeks ago. I contacted AKG since, and the D72s is the same as the D660s. The link is here:

My local music store still has a great deal on these, and I'd like to use it to record vocals, and accoustic guitar. I am just starting out, so I dont need the highest quality out there, but want something half-decent....Would this do, or why not? Thanks!
 
I'm in the same situation. I asked the music guy for a good mic, and he said that one.

I at first wanted to get a Studio Projects B1 Condenser mic to record vocals/acoustics, and record through a Fast Track USB by M-AUDIO. But he said I couldnt because it didnt have phantom power.
