Hi all,
I am using a Fender Pro Junior for recording guitar with "live air." The problem? I am getting a bunch of hum out of the amp. I can have the volume on the amp turned all the way down and no cable or guitar plugged into the amp and I still get this hum. Though it is not so loud that it kills the guitar sound, I certainly don't want to record it. Anyway, what do you think the cause may be? This is such a simple amp, one volume and one tone, two preamp tubes, two power amp tubes. I bought the amp "new", that is never owned but about 3 years old so I got a decent price for it ($280). I didn't notice the hum at first. It showed up about a month after I bought it. If you need any other info, just ask.
Tahnks for any help. Peace, Jim
