hey so i went shopping for a pair of monitors and i still cant make my choice,i know theres alot of em different prices and options and also the room

i listen to a few cds on jbl speakers but it sound way too polished alot of highs-didnt like it listened to various krk models and the 8inches were had way to much lows but the 6 didnt seem as badthen i tired the yamaha h50 and h80 both were really good and i liked them

heres the thing im gonna do this in my room and im still debating wheter i should get the 6 inche model and a sub or just get the 8inch model with no sub..since im gonna be doing this in my room and its not super big ..the guy told me that having a sub would be a pain in the ass for to to control the accoustic with a bass trap and everything so should i just get the 8inches and later i could get a really good pair of 6inches

any one tried these yamaha speaker?

I'd avoid a sub if at all possible. Giant calibration pains.

You're still going to need broadband trapping - That's just physics.

I have the HS-80M monitors, and you don't need a sub... unless of course you're planning to do nothing but hip hop.
