I have a question about live sound reinforcement. We were planning on using a Mackie 1604 VLZ Pro as our main board, but another guy wants us to use a Tsunami powered mixer instead. It has three preamps. 400 watts - 400 watts - 200 watts at 4 ohms. It's really pricey. Should we get that to use with the Mackie, get that instead of using the Mackie, or screw the Mackie and just use that? I don't see why it would be all that neccessary to use with the Mackie, but this guy swears it's the greatest unit ever made for anything.
