Can't use Lexicon Alpha with win 7

Hi all.
I wasn't sure this is the correct forum for my question, i do hope so.
I can't playback audio with Alpha on Win 7. It keeps crashing and
there is no sound at all. At best there are a few seconds of
Playback, then it shuts down, and there's no sound at all
until next reboot.
I have downloaded and installed latest driver for my OS.
When trying with the same computer when booted with Ubuntu OS,
(it's a double boot computer) it works just fine.
Has anyone encountered such a thing, or has an idea how to
resolve this ?

Hi,

I had the similar problem before but I solved it by connecting the Lexicon Alpha to the main USB Port on my computer. If I connect it to a secondary USB i.e. (Hub) it used to just cut of suddenly once in a while. But after I found out that, it needs to be connected to your main USB Port, not any otther sub USB Hubs. Try it it might work....good luck
