I was at GC today, and they had some really pretty little Premier kits on sale, the Maple Artist and Birch Artist kits (without snares or hardware). They were going for $600 and $500 respectively... I was wondering if anyone knows anything about these kits, they've got nice stain finishes but of course GC wouldn't set them up for me to play. There were also 2 Birch Artist kits with snares for I think $550...

) those prices are definately a killer deal for those kits. i think GC is gonna start dealing gretsch instead of premier so they're probably trying to get rid of their stock. if you like the kit i would definately jump at the deal.
