I have an AKAI MPC2000XL. The sounds it came with are certainly good and useful. I do not have access to live drms to sample them myself but I would like to expand my palette. I am looking for a sample library with good natural, dry drum sounds and plenty of percussion sounds. Any recommendations?
I also have an MPC, but mine is the MPC60. There are plenty of CDs with good realistic drums and percussion sounds. I bought one recently made by a danish drummer which is pretty good and offers a nice variety of sounds (i forgot the name of the CD). I would suggest you go to Sam Ash on 48th st. they have a pretty good selection.
