Me too. Hey, could you do me a favor? Can you do all my real life things for me and then tell me how it turns out. I'm sure you'll get better results at real life things than I will. I've never got good results with real life things. So, do them for me and send me the results.

Have you taken the file and manually "silenced" the parts that are not right? i.e. I use Audacity (only wav files). Open the file in Audacity, hightlight the offending section, go to the Edit menu (top tool bar) and click on silence. See if that helps. Or...
Open the file in Audacity, hightlight the offending section, go to the Effects menu, and click on noise removal or fade out and try those. Worth a try.
