Life's like that, I guess. You lose track of people that you would rather not. But friendship is a strange animal. Just caught up with a drummer I played with in the 80s this year. Thirty years didn't dampen our friendship at all. I think I'd have a hard time if his new wife called and let me know he'd passed...

Yes, Emerson died earlier this year. I saw ELP on the Pictures at an Exhibition tour in April of 72 at the Music Hall in Boston.

This makes this the worst year for me regarding music heroes

ELP were my of my biggest musical influences growing up, and Greg Lake another one of my Singing Bass player Heroes to die. Greg Lake played Guitar, Bass and sang on this track, lesser known but one of my favourites.
