a damn nice review on it.. its $899 street price.. i have to see if i can find one at that price b/c i haven't yet.. but this seems to be a very nice unit.. i was about to pick up an HHB radius40 for $200 yesterday but i didn't..

the cheapest i've seen the mp-1 is $950 plus shipping.. i'm not sure if i'll be able to cover that on a pre but i'll know in a few weeks..
this seems to be THE pre to have.. and seeing that i have a home studio.. with a a unit like that i know i can cut perfect sounding demo's and indie albums
 
i ahven't bought the preamp or ksm44 yet.. i used the ksm44 at another studio for a session and i plan on buying one.. i'm gonna go ahead and push for the A-Designs MP-1..
 
it looks like a well built unit but i'm leaning toward the A-Designs mp-1..and if i can find a used one i with out a doubt am gonna get the mp-1
 
A store here is Sweden sold a couple of brand new VMP-2 a while ago.... about $350 each. Was a shame I had no money that month.
