Hi everyone!
I'm new here and didn't know this forum existed until yesterday when i picked up this thread on the Andy Sneap forum. Great stuff! Amazing how many good contributions you received (and for free!).
One confusing thing about the raw material was the extremely low rec-levels on guitars and bass?? And, at some point there is also some funny phasing-effect going on in the guits. I think the drum tracking was pretty good! What effects did you use during recording?
Anyway, the competition is over but I still made a quick-mix/master, wanted to have some fun and see if I could do something for those guitars and the bass but dunno if I just destroyed it.. I also thought this would call for a more rock- and less "metal-sharp" sound. Cymbals and bass are perhaps too much upfront.
