I am presently housing WAYYYYYY to much outboard sh#t to list here in 6, 5 foot Raxess racks!
I got gear racked up that hasn't even been turned on in over a year!
As a matter a fact, my dumb-@ss is presently sitting with 4 different boards of which I don't even intend to sell!!
Had 4 ADAT's and sold 2 of 'em just to purchase the HD24.
True, stoned-to-the-bone, GEAR JUNKIE!!!!
A fellow SLUT!!:D :D :D

I don't know about you, but an SR-16 is NOT rackmountable!
You might be able to put it on some shelf or something.

Hell, if we all start to add our drumcomputers and direct recording tools, the shit hits the fan...

Digitech Genesis 3

So am I knit-picking for listing it? or are you for snivling about it? I mounted it in my rack. Sue me.....

I just got a rack mount shelf from work today for free. Does that count?

Nothing to put on it, just a shelf.:D

My rack came directly from the dump, complete with the following contents, and is fully functional. Its one of those vintage Green Altec racks:

Altec 1593b (50W SS power amp)
Altec 26 band EQ (cannot find model #)
1/4" patch bay with 24 jack spaces.
Altec 1592b (5 CH Mixer / PRE)
Power supply (switch, key-lock).

Soon I will put in a (sheepish confessional look) Behringer Ultragain Pro pre.

The rack itself weighs a TON, and appears to have had front door at some point (now gone). This thing is not really portable by todays standards - although I think it functioned as a PA at one point.

One man's junk is another mans treasure!

The damn thing is too deep. It sticks four inches out the back of my rack cabinet. I guess it's going back to work.

It was made for a large telecommunications rack, but i wasn't paying any attention to how deep it was.

My equipment is used only for recording/playing acoustic guitar

1. Pres
Pendulum MDP-1A Tube Pre
Pendulum SPS-1 Acoustic Guitar Pre
Rane AP-13 Acoustic Guitar Pre
Rane DMS 22 Pre
John Hardy M-2 Pre

2. Signal Processing
TC Electronics M2000
Lexicon MPX100
Behringer T1951 tube parametric eq

3. Mix/Power/DAW
Hafler P3000 amp
Digi001 box
Soundcraft M4 board (11 rack spaces)

There's two generations of items. Several of the items have been replaced, although I still have the original items (e.g., I first bought the MPX100 but have upgraded to the M2000). With a few decent mics, this system records well. I play out at gigs with some of it too.

I plan on selling the earlier stuff (AP13, DMS22, MPX100, T1951). I'm using plug-ins for eq, compression and reverb when recording (McDSP FilterBank, McDSP MC2000 and RealVerb). I use a pair of Neumann KM184s, a Neumann TLM103 and a Sunrise magnetic pickup for recording 4 channels for the guitar.
