Anyone have any complaints with this?

Nay, b-52's are considered the poor man's mesa boogie. Also, if youd like to, try out the peavey valvekings...they have a decent distortion, and they are tube.

Yep they are hit or miss. You either get a really good one or a total lemon.

I agree, in the short time I worked at GC I saw several come back. But I did have the chance to record one and it sounded like a Recto, and was just as hard to dial in as one.

You guys have me interested in these B-52 amps, but now I'm a little worried about getting a total lemon (as stated earlier).

I'm kind of stuck between a few combos right now, and probably won't buy until I find the right price...
