Light painting used as animation for video, great effect, easy to do

Heyas, I thought I would share this video I made for my friend. We took a series of long exposure photographs of the singer with different coloured torches being moved around in the background, then linked them all up as an animation. I'm addicted to the technique and can't wait to make another using light painting.

The song has a sad background story. My friend Sean was compelled to write the song after a fellow we knew decided he had had enough of this life.

 
A friend had me do some light painting for photography, but I've never tried it with video.

best to run a couple of cameras from a few different angles because each still can take about 5-10 secs to do and ideally you need 24 shots per second of footage.
