Now that is HOME recording...
I saw a few fabulous studios here this reminds me of home.
Nice paint on the walls goes with the drum kit...
double bass pedals?
streetlamp...I bet I'd knock that over on any given Saturday...but that's just me.

I saw some of the weird angles like near that overhang by the red door...
I have a few similar angles...I thought about making triangle-shaped acoustic baffles I read about somewhere on this site..

This is where we started, before computer recording, in 1991:

01.webp

My brother built the Strat, one of his early ones, in solid walnut. The bridge didn't intone right and it wasn't in tune up the neck. I still have the Rockman, Microverb, and one of the Yamahas.

This was a later iteration, circa 1998:

The Teacs had sync and transport search/GOTO, but there were issues with audio quality.

In September 2010, I got a new guitar and decided to upgrade the whole studio, starting with the desk:

I also upgraded the lighting system in the Tracking Room:

This is the first day we lit fiber in the Tracking Room:

After basic testing, the patchbay needed augmentation:

It ended up growing to 240 points.

Mood lighting largely complete, in analog:

I've got a DMX interface and once I slick a laptop, lighting control migrates to the digital domain.

Drum kit...full pads eventually, but for now, it forces me to be precise:

Keys, fiddle and a vocal mic:

That's all, folks!

Here is my "studio" for tonite haha ;)

Oh and seriously the "room treatment" is the closet with no doors and carpet on the floors....hmmmm also styrafoam sheathing (fit good and tight) in old windows behind the blinds so......really nice and "dry" as needed for vocals most of the time :eatpopcorn:

Ok, I just want to show you guys the place where I sleep, eat, watch movies, do my homework and ofcourse produce my music!

Made the desk myself so it fits exactly in my room, making most use of the space available :-)
