Take a marker and write "Fender Stratocaster" on the headstock. It will be out of tune before the ink dries. :)

Or you could always write Univox Les Paul copy on it for faster results. :D

I should pull that old thing out of the closet and see if it got any faster.

Put an import strat tremolo on it with only one spring and do as many divebombs as the post-80s world will allow.

Better idea: Turn those little knobs on the headstock a lot. That should do it.

And the problem is??!

I'm totally flummoxed.

Why would this bother you, I wish I had the same "problem" with some of my guitars

hahaha thats the best thing i've heard all day. Wish i had the same problem too.

i usualy put some detunator on the strings just before playing. that helps.

you can find it at guitar world i believe.

Does that come in a spray or do I have to use the stick?

both, be careful not to use too much when you have the spray though, it might warp the neck!

First, I would get rid of that stupid nut and put a gnarly squire strat plastic nut on that baby.

Secondly, the tuners are much too stiff, grab some awesome chinese squire strat tuners and plop them on.

Next, the frets are probably on too well and in the right spots, so (you guessed it) replace the neck with a squire strat one.

At the same time, the pickups are not pulling hard enough on the strings, so you better replace those with squire pickups as well.

Lastly, the body is probably too heavy, so might as well replace that with a squire one too.

Good luck,

Rory
