oh yeah, and the at2020 is a fantastic mic.
but it's not a LDC, it's a SDC in a LDC case. not that it matters really. but 179 over 2020 for this recommendation because you can learn about polar patterns and get lots of control that you can't get from the cardoid 2020. also handles higher spl well compared to 2020, although both really are great mics.
