Audio Technica AT2035

for vocals, don't get a 2035. the 2020 is great on acoustic guitar and somet hings, but crappy on vocals.

I don't agree with the statement at all, which just shows that different folks have different strokes, it depends on personal taste and the singer. It's not my number one vocal mic, but that is because I have better vocal mics in the cupboard, however I have had good vocal recordings using the 2035.

Don't forget we are talking about a budget mic here.
