A little bored tonight so I dug out my DVD of the Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. I had only watched this once or twice over the years and never realized till tonight that Iommi played with Tull for a minute. I had read somewhere that he auditioned for Tull, but didn't think he actually ever played with them...

Also interesting is Clapton, Lennon, Richards and Mitch Mitchell playing "Yer Blues" as the Dirty Mac.



There were a few B&W shots in a photo gallery on the DVD that were very cool, but I just snapped these off the TV with an Iphone.

Highly recommend Rock and Roll Circus for anyone who can find a copy. It's worthwhile if for nothing more than the Pete Townsend interview.
