is is the high-pitch melody thingy that dre uses it in a lot of beats, such as nuttin but a g thang? if thats what you're referring to those sounds are on synthesizers, called "leads" theres usually a whole bunch of different ones, but you can use any sound for it, just play real high up

i dont know anything about that soundcard...i've never heard of it, but anyways since you're only using 1 stereo output (i'm assumin you dont have quadrophonics isp mixer) then you could just use the soundcard on your computer already. with the rca --> stereo 1/8"...but i dont know...seems like...
