I don't know if any one else has done this, but if you print out the MR 8 manual, (from the pdf file) and put it in a 3 ring binder, it is actually easier to read than the original manual that comes with the unit. It is a bigger page, some stuff is in color, and the pages lay flat if you need...

Ahhhh, yes, you can designate where you import the files from the wav manager, just click a folder in the left hand view. Ok, so it takes me a while to catch on....

I found a great usb Flash card reader at best Buy, a PNY for only us$15.00. It works very well with Windows ME. Now I don't have to drag the MR 8 from room to room just to dump the card contents, or load it up! Oh, the Wav Manager works very well with it, it recognises it with no problems!

I've started recording again after a long hiatus. I would like to use my Electro Voice PL 78, but can't seem to find the battery it uses. The last one I bought was an Energizer 523, (4.5v), but that was something like 12 or so years ago. Any suggestions?
