    Damn guitarists... (160hz mix destroyer)

When recording guitar tracks, there always seems to be this disgusting hum at 140-160hz, almost seems like it's the resonant freqency for my monitor cabs (Alesis M1's) or somthing -- completely over powers the mix...

    Best way to my Monitors from my DAW.

    Hey guys, I have a SBAudigy (no audio drive), a Samson 120 reference amp, and 2 Alesis Monitor 1's. Is it acceptable to run the line out of the SB into my Samson? Am i defeting the purpose of the monitors by using the SB's D/A Converter? I have a Midiman Flying Cow, would it be better to use...

    2 x Mic -> A/D -> Sp/dif = Cheap?

    Hey guys, Got my Motu 828, i'm happy happy happy with it. Did some drumming and was able to monitor my playing with a flanger... ooo that's fun... Anyhoot, so, now i'm greedy, i want to use 8 mics for my drums, which leaves none for the rest of the band to record scratch or tracks or whatever...

    Yo Folks, I'm not sure if what i'm looking for is called a harmonizer, i think it is... I want a plugin that takes a track (ie vocal) and compairs it to one or more other tracks (ie, guitar/bass) and pitch shifts and plays with the first track (vocal) to make it sit/fit better with the other...
