Ha, ha,
yeah well you know Malta has a very good level of English, we actually offer courses there and people prefer to come there than go to England to learn it (sun is always shining and you can party a lot!). Ever since I was born I was surrounded with English. I played with english army folk's kids, watched American and English serieses on TV, read Superman and Batman comics, English books, etc. It's a mother language for me, it just comes natural, but most Maltese are that way. Even in school all lessons are in English. And then there's the music. RocknRoll is America, and I'm completely fascinated by it! I'm also a big American Football fan (New York Giants). But you'd be surprised how stiff they are here in Germany when it comes to English. At work I'm always helping everybody when they need translations, 'cos they can't stop thinking German. They're always awed because I speak German and Italian the same way, without even thinking about it. But that's all due to Malta's history. We have always been ruled by some other country and it just left its mark. We really are able to adapt to different languages. What I love about American people is they're much cooler and open than here in Germany. Here they really have to get used to you. But I guess I'm doing Ok. There's quite a good music scene in Malta though, considering its size. Many of the friends I added on myspace are Maltese bands or musicians. Do you remeber the Swiss band Krokus? The singer Marc Storace is Maltese. He's a good friend of mine, real cool guy. But I believe that It's not important where you come from as a musician. A musician from Florida once said to me musicians are one big family and that's exactly the way I feel...
