i'm try to play my pc sound through toneport ux 2 by connecting analog out to speaker, somehow i realised that it sounds different. It's like it doesn't feel rich anymore, dull sound, and thin sound, bass were even gone. But when i plugged the out from phones, it sounds fine, why?
i borrowed a korg pedal, it won't work! Well, to be precise, it works the other way around. Sustain when i leave it there, and cut when i step on it. I tried to play with this reverse behavior but uh... u know i can be crazy to master it.
Anyway, is there any way to solve this? I tried the...
i just got myself the rayzoon jamstix 2 for my cakewalk. Heard it was a great virtual drummer so figured to try it out. Got it installed, and inserted in the synth rack then i'm stuck. I don't know how to use it!! Got made it played for one time but didn't know how. By the way, i'm a new sonar...
Hello, recording midi keyboard without a damper is really tough for me. So i decide to look for a pedal for my Behringer UMX-49. But when i hook up using Korg's pedal, it work terribly. The damper actually active when i don't step on it, but when i step on it, it cuts off the damp.
So i guess i...
now i see..... cool guys, thanks!
one more thing about the monitor. Vogler told me about the Alesis M1 520, and before that i was actually looking into wharfedale diamond studio pro 8. Both of them seems to be very promising, but the problem is, Alesis is using USB, any "side effect" for that?
Yeah, i got phantom power on my UX-2 man.
Well, looks like i'm getting a mic first. Though the review on that alesis monitor is tempting, haha:D
But i"m still choosing in between Behringer's C-3 and Studio Project's B1. What do you guys think?
a lot of ppl is using sm57. But, it's a dynamic mic right? and dynamic mics are better to loud vocals right?
So a condenser should be my choice i guess.. And wat do you mean by Behringer chance?
Yeah, i heard garage band was quite powerful enough actually, and logic is one of the software i'm anxious to get my hands on, after i get a mac:D
But anyway, i really don't know about using VSTi with programs like reaper, cakewalk, live etc. Can somebody give some tips on it?:)
but reaper, can't use virtual instruments very well is it? I don't know, maybe is because i don't know how it works. But what i like is the kind of software that makes it easy by just plug in your midi keyboard, then choose an instrument and record. Garage band impressed me with that:)
Hi guys, I'm a newbie around here. I started recording when i was 14 and back at that time i was using win98 and cool edit pro. Well, as a kid, i don't really have any equipment at all.
But now, going up 21 and i have some of the equipments with me. One of my precious one is the TOneport UX2...
