Hi i'm wondering what condenser mic that i should buy for overheads and would be nice to double up as vocal mic but thats not too much of a worry.
ECM8000 seems to have good reviews for such a cheap mic. Are they actually good for a nice overhead mic? I am also looking at the AKG Perception...

So i opened izotope ozone 3 in audacity, (I put it in the Audacity plugins folder and then it comes up in the effects column), and it comes up with a huge box that does not resemble anythin that i have seen about the program.
It has a whole lot of effects settings but it doesnt look like it...
what can i use so that when i record drums all the seperate mics (snare, kick, tom1, tom2, floor tom, and overhead 1 and 2) come up on a program on seperate tracks? is it possible?
I use audacity or REAPER and am wondering whether i could actually do this as it would make my recording much...
1 have just recorded 8 songs over a few days with the same equipment and levels, they are of the same genre and basically same overall feel.
....is there a need to master? and if so wat steps should i take? i'm quite new to this please help!!!:confused:
