That moeller technique, or whatever it is that Jo Jo Mayer does, also Mangini I think. 20 beats per second (insane). I think my pinky's are to short for that, but I will give it my best attempt to learn over the next year. I don't guess it's needed, but it is kinda cool.

There was this Jo Jo Mayer dvd I was looking at. I need to bring up my weak hand (left) and something to for timing. And something for generally getting all my limbs to do what I want them to. I was practicing 'Fool in the Rain' today, and it was pretty difficult.

I agree with the comment about technique. I think the problem is with people. I don't think drums are to loud. I had a friend over a few days ago, and he said "Wow, I could actually develop hearing problems by being around the drums." I didn't say anything, but that is kind of ridiculous to...

When I first watched it I though it was a joke. But I believe he thinks people are being truthful when they're saying he's good. There are comments on every one of his cover video's. It's like "Windy City Heat", the joke is on him, I think.

I have had an emu 0404 sound card with cubasis and patchmix. I have checked everything I know of. I even reinstalled the sound card, still nothing. Any ideas?
