I totally agree. That's why I said I "consider" everything, but it doesn't mean I'll actually change anything. I just get caught between just being stubborn for the sake of being stubborn, and trying to be objective about other people's opinions. But it would take A LOT for me to actually go back and change an arrangement based on someone's opinion. I also always try to go listen to someone's music after reading their opinion. I'm not going to get specific here, but often I'll forget about anything they said after listening to their music, because their opinion can all of a sudden become irrelevant to me. That's all I'm going to say about that right now.I really liked the middle part.
This is why I don't consider songwriting or arrangement opinions. Mix feedback, sure. Useful. I like to to know how different people hear things on different systems. Writing feedback? No thanks. It's my song and I'm good enough at writing my own music that I can execute my own vision exactly the want I want. If that makes me a self-righteous stubborn dick, then so be it. Some people will like something, some won't. That's just how it is.
