YamahaMG to AP24/96. What am I missing?

Hello all, I'm having trouble getting any sound through my mixer. I've got the mic plugged in, levels checked, phantom power on and I get nothing. I'm usings RCAs from the "REC out" into the RCA ins on the Audiophile 24/96. My software is Ableton Live Lite 4.0. I guess there are several places I may be going wrong but any insight would be well appreciated. Thanks

Which MG mixer have you got?

Try using the main Stereo Outs instead of the Rec Outs. Ensure the ST light (if you've got one) is on for that channel. You'll probably need a 1/4" to rca convertor jack
 
Thanks BullsHit, I did learn about the rec outs typically having a weak signal and switched to the ST outs with the 1/4" phone jacks. Still got nothing. I think something is wrong with the inputs on my AP 24/96. Or something is wrong with me, I can usually figure this stuff out but I'm stumped on this one. Now I'm trying to figure out who I can pay to come over to my house and set it up.
