Yahama Aw 1600 echo issue

Hello,

Can annyone help me ? i have a problem with my yahama aw 1600 multi track recorder. If i record my song with a echo it's works fine en sounds great on te aw 1600 self but i i transer the song to my pc the echo is gone. Is there annyone who knows i can solve this problem ?
 
I don't believe that effects are transferred when you just move the wav files from the AW1600 to the PC. The raw wav file is stored in the AW and then any effects are applied later when you do mixdown or listening. You don't really add the effects to the audio file, since that would lock you into always having that effect.

You might be able to bounce (ping-pong) from one track to another with the effects in place. Its been a long time since I played with my 1600 to know for sure, but the effects should be included in the bounced track. Otherwise you couldn't use it as a submix for adding tracks. Its around page 81 in the manual under mixdown/bounce operations.

Once you get it in the PC, you can always add echo from your DAW.
