XP sees Delta 1010lt as a Delta 44

Every other time I turn my computer on, XP Pro tells me it has found new hardware. It says that it has a found a Delta 44. The thing that sucks is the card is a 1010lt. I am using the latest drivers but they don't do me any good if Windows won't see it as the correct hardware. What should I do?

Has it ever worked as a 1010LT for you?

You might try manually updating the driver and telling XP to let you choose from a list, maybe the 1010LT will appear as an option?

You may be using a very old driver that has never heard of a 1010LT (it's a more recent card but all the Delta's now use the same driver.)
The latest XP driver is version .48a

You may have a hardware fault with the card, the 44 and 1010LT pci card is very similar, and I think there's a little socketed memory chip on the card that identifies what model it is - maybe the plant put the wrong one in?
