I'm looking for a small mixer with at least one XLR and one 1/4 inch input. I want it so I can route the output to my Johnson J-station so I don't have to switch cables, because I use it to add life to bass, guitar, sequenced drums, and sometimes vocals.
Anyway, my only requirements are the inputs I mentioned before, and that the mixer doesn't color the sound TOO much. Phantom power is not an issue as I'm only using an SM58 right now (I guess it wouldn't hurt to have for the future though. I'm recording to a cassette 4 track, so perfect fidelity is also a non-issue.
If you've outgrown your small mixer, make me an offer I can't refuse. I'll try not to refuse it.
