I waited over a year to catch one on ebay mint shipped for less than $300.
Nobody is selling their SM7's......which is a good sign for the quality of the mic! Bad sign if you want to buy one.
But once you get one, you wont regret it.

check full compass. they were the cheapest for a while. the used one's usually sell for more than what they sell em for...i think 309 or 317.
if you do go there ask for dave cradler. he's the man.

I got one on ebay once for $225 - I was pumped. Then the seller *calls* the next day and says, um, that this very bad man stole the mic, and he can't send it to me, but he'll send me a web cam for free -- he had already refunded the purchase price.
A deal's a deal, but you gotta pick your battles, I guess. I've got the crappy webcam
I did pick up two of the mics later locally -- they're great (and not for sale )!

Thanks folks. I found a guy on the local ads who's selling a pretty much new one for $300. I'll be getting it through him.
