I need to do some "home mastering"...(what a terrible concept, I know) for some simple demo stuff. Trust me when I say that I use a pro for real mastering. Anyway, I'm looking to pick up an older version of Sound Forge. I toyed around with a friend's version of 6.0 several years back and that would be more than adequate for my needs.
I figure they're on version 9.0 now so there must be somewhere that I can purchase an older version for much less than the $300 they're asking for the newest version right?? Anybody know of any sites that sell legit licenses for older versions of software? Thanks
