Wireless / radio mics

Hi. I'm thinking about using a radio mic for live performances.

I'd appreciate some pointers as to what to consider when buying one and generally the pros and cons of their use in a live situation.

I have a Shure PG2 and thats never let me down, its an expensive investment though for something thats essentially a luxury.
