Win 2k + 24i problem

Did some searching here and some "googling". Here's the deal. I just got a MOTU 24i and I'm running it on a PC running Win 2000. I am told Win 2k has a 10 device limit for wave devices and I believe that's what's causing the problem. I only see 10 pairs of ins instead of 12. Anybody know a workaround or a way to fix this? It would be nice to use all 24 inputs instead of just 20. I did email MOTU, but you know how long that can take sometimes.
