Will I have issues with a Tascam US800 + mac + leopard + garage band.

GB is the only software i have ever used, i feel like i understand it a little now and can get good results, i dont want to change (have to learn) new software.

id like to be able to record a whole band live (6 inputs) simultaneously.

i use a mac, and its running leopard (i live by if it aint broke dont fix/upgrade it)

ive read many reviews with issues regarding the us800 with pc and mac

just wanted some of your thoughts before i send payment.

ive spent a lot of time in the last 3 days trying to figure out which way to record the band (stand alone device or interface)

us800 seems like a good option (if it works well) ??

I'm not familiar, but if you're going to get opinions, that's probably the place for you.
