My wife says this sounds like something but she couldnt put her finger on it. This tune has been in my head for a while now....

chord progression and the vocal line in the verse remind me of Bon Jovi's In these Arms....
but never mind, song's not bad at all. Recording could be better though. Drums sound very artificial and too far away, except for those tom hits. Voices are nice but mixed completely dry and too forward in the mix. Clean guitar sounds good but the song could use some more instrumentation. I'm sure you could get more out of this song.

I'm certainly no encyclopaedia of modern music--but it doesn't sound too much like anything I know. It's nice though--call it your own and pursue it!

Got a similar instrumental sound to The Beatles - Flying. Not a bad thing at all. Not identical so no problem. Vocals remind me of Leonard Cohen slightly. Not a bad thing either.

I like the song, very chilled. My kind of music.
