I'm thinking of throwing a P-90 into an old Epiphone Olympic I have. The guitar's already been modded with a badass bridge and SD Hotrail, so no reason to keep it stock I guess. Will involve routing a bit and changing the pickguard.
I've never had a guitar with a P-90 before, but looking around for one, I see that Duncan has like 3 models, and there's other cheaper ones. Which should I get if I just want the classic p-90 sound? Also thinking of buying one of those cheap Squier '51s and putting a P-90 in that. Any suggestions welcome.
