Which would you choose

If someone offered to GIVE you one of the following microphones, which would you choose:

Audio Technica 2020
or
MXL 770 w/shock mount

I'm asking because i may be purchasing a piece of gear from someone and they made that offer if i made the purchase. I've never used either of these mics (and not sure that i really need either) so if any of you can enlighten me, i would appreciate it.

tell them to keep the mic's and cut you a better deal on what ever you are buying from them....

that thought definitely crossed my mind. I figured before i said that though i'd check and see if anyone had anything good to say about either mic.

im not saying that either of them is completely useless...but I have owned both....and I havnt found a use for either...

I've owned several mics that fit that description... in fact i still own one or two.

Either one can be had new for under $100. How is he trying to sweeten the deal with that?
Every microphone has a place in recording. I own both microphones and have yet to feature either in a recording though someday,someday.

Take one of them and then trade it for a SM57,which is more usefull.
