which would i be better of with ?

a delta 1010 with a seperate mixer like a behreinger mx1604 or a used mackie 1202


or a tascam us428

also I might be thinkin of this incorectlly

but with the first setup i can just align all the outputs from the mixer right in to the 1010

so it would go(as an example)

1- mic 1 in channel one in the mixer
2- mic 2 in channel 2 in the mixer
3- guitar in channel 3 in the mixer
etc

and on the outputs from the mixer would go in to the corresponding inputs in to the 1010
then i would assign each channel its on track in my mulittrack(nuendo) in to my computer
right?
if i'm totally off please let me know
