Which Mixer do i buy?

Hey there.

I have got a Yamaha MW10c mixer, and Ive found that i can only record 2 channels, which is rubbish when you record a band, and you cant add effects on the vocals for example, becasue there all through one channel.
Anyways!

I would like to buy a new mixer, between 8 and 12 Channels, that i can use all the 8 channels, to record with in Cubase.
Should i go for USB mixer?
What type or make??

What's your budget, and why do you want to use a mixer instead of an audio interface specifically made for recording multiple channels at one time?
 
Tascam US-2000 might be a little over your budget, but offers 16 channels. What you have to realize (and study up on) is that a mixer mixes multiple inputs down to fewer outputs. Any mixers that offer individual outputs of each track (via USB or Firewire) are way over your budget.
