I'm gonna start ripping my vinyl collection down to...well eventually down to 16/44.1.
Topic same as title - I'd do 88.2Khz recording plugged directly into the phono inputs of the Alesis io26 and then dither to 44.1, OR do 44.1 through the Sony USB system, assuming I don't have to install some proprietary Sony cancerware.
I know I could test, but I just don't have a lot of time and am curious if anyone thinks they might have an idea which A/D conversion might sound better.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
