Which CD-R?

Should be using some kind of really high quality CD-R for my master CDs for bands? Or is any old CD-R good enough? I'm not particularly concerned about disc life, thats their problem. I'm more concerned about sound quality. Which CD-Rs sound the best?

Yo Scott:

I use Mitsui discs; not too expensive and have had no problem. I've also used BASF -- no problema.

I hear the Yamaha discs are good but they are kind of hard to find.

Disc Error problems may also be due to gear problems; however, using the above I have had no problems.

I imagine you might buy a gaggle of silver CDR-s and use them and have no problems either. But, the 50 CDR packs do not come with cases; so it's six of one and a CDR of the other.
