Where I'm at now ...78rpm to CD

I now realize that a lot of this site is for the musician & live recording, but my deal is 78rpm records to CD. Do have a mic & my son has been rock & roll bass guitar for a number of years.

So this is the corner of the front room that has the gear.

ASUS laptop with Windows 7 & Adobe 3.0 (soon to upgrade to stand-alone PC)
Kenwood ElevenGX amp/receiver
Rek-O-Kut N33H with Shure Stereo tonearm/cartridge combo
Dual 1019 with Stanton 500 V3 cart + 78rpm styli set
AKAI GX365D reel to reel
Kenwood CD player and Sansui SC-3330 cassette player
Acoustic Research AR-3 speakers

Yeah, I'm into vintage audio.......:listeningmusic:

Yeah, we're 99.9% recording musicians here but there would still be good info for what you're doing here. That's a tasty rig you got there. I've done SOME forensic recording. Nothing too exotic though.

Nice rig.
I'm slowly archiving & restoring the vinyl & cassettes I have if they're unlikely to be released as CDs.
I have a nice new turntable so still play a lot of plastic in the living room.
I use waverepair to archive & restore.
