Hi folks,
Just spent a couple of weeks recording this (co-written with a friend)....

Care for a listen? Please critique. I've got an open mind ( and no...it's not Pink Floyd )

I like it.
Very smooth, nothing in the mix is too harsh or too quiet. Very good overall mix. I like the drums, especially the snare, very "Coldplay". I like hearing a different style of piano in songs, and this one does that well. Has a good vibe.

The one thing I would want to change is bring up the kick in the mix, kinda shallow. But that could just be these speakers!

Sure, it's not Pink Floyd but it sounds similar....soothing and relaxing like Floyd....

Could use a bit more lows/low mids in the solo guitar but that's just my own taste...

Overall great job on this tune....mix/playing/recording.

I think I've talked to that girl at the end - or at least tried to with equal success....lol....cool beginning and ending sequences......

Thanks for the positive feedback. jayke, you're right, the kick drum sample sucks and is low in the mix. I'll try to work that out in my next mix which will be happening exactly after this reply ;-)
