where do i plug it in?

Ok, so i bought a behringer mixer. How do I plug it into the sound card? My mixer has 8 lines out but my sound card only has one line input. I know, it must be obvous, but it isnt to the technically challenged. Do I use the rca stereo out line with the red and white holes? Or do I have to only record one line at a time?

The line input in your soudcard is likely stereo (2-channels).

You can pick two line outs OR just use the tape outs to send a stereo mix. You'll find the adapters you need at RadShack.

If you want to actually record eight tracks together, you'll need to invest in a multi-track interface. The least expensive one I know is the M-Audio Delta 1010LT.
 
You can't get any more channels in than your soundcard has. You need a soundcard with more inputs.

One input = one channel

A stereo input soundcard will only give you 2, if you pan the source hard 100% left and the other 100% right.

Time to get out your credit card and go shopping...
