where can I get good conga sounds

Hi

I'm using cakewalk session drummer with the built-in gm conga sounds which I thought sounded a bit crap so I downloaded some soundfonts which didn't sound too good at all. I liked the synthesised sounds better than the sampled sounfonts which is a bit sad I know but there u go.

Anyone know where I can get good free congas (and other latin percussion for that matter. I've tried hammer but couldn't find anything at all there)

d you mean make my own soundfont,hmmmm.., now there's an idea. I don't have any congas but might be able to get hold of a pair...

what do I need - Vienna??, how much is that??

I believe he meant use non midi, and just record them straight into the computer. It will be much more realistic sounding then any midi soundfont.
