Hi again,
Sorry about all the questions....gotta learn somehow though!!
I am running a behringer desk through my pc which runs windows xp and i'm using cubase vst32. No matter how softly I sing or how far away from the mic (within reason), the sound plays back unclear, distorted mostly. This desk doesn't seem to indicate the level activity much unless you are singing the roof off the house. And when I check/bring down the levels in cubase, they appear to magically put themselves back to where they orignally were.
As you can imagine, this does not make for a song, pleasant on the ear. can you help me please?
