Hi, I want to know what should I do with my home studio to improve it.(PICTURE BELOW)

Gear:
-11Rack /w Pro tools 10 (Waves Plugins)
-Monitors JBL LSR308
-Audio-Technica AT4040 & AT4041
-Rode NT-1
-Shure SM57
-M-Audio keystation49
-Headphone Audio-technica ATH-M50

For my acoustic, the black panel are made by myself using Roxul Safe N' Sound. And there are some acoustic foam (I got more but didn't know where to stick it).

I mainly do Pop/Acoustic/Rock song. I want to know:

- What should I do to get a better acoustic treatment ?
- What should I buy next for my studio ?
- Any good tutorial book/video about recording or mixing ?

If you want to get any idea about how I sound, check out my youtube: Youtube.com/F2DProduction

Big thick bass traps/super chunks in the front corners behind your monitors. Especially with your rear ported monitors. Get them a couple feet away from the wall behind them if possible.

I know how tough it can be in such a confined space, but you will have way better results placing 4-6" Roxul or OC 703 in any corner you can find (ceiling to wall/floor to wall included), than you will with just foam or thin Safe n Sound panels directly on the walls.

High end reflections you have handled. Problem you will have/do have now with that room, has more to do with resonating buildup/cancellation of frequencies below 250Hz.

You gotta deal with what that room allows you to do and get the best you can from it.

Get into Bass trapping and Room tuning with some room measurement software.

Well that was detailed and helpful...

Welcome to the forum Darvesh. I appreciate your response but it would be cool if you gave some actual direct links to anything you eluded to... Or at least an explanation as to who you are and why you commented.

Just sayin...
